After graduating in Biology, I worked for a few years as a Research Scientist with the Blood Transfusion Service. Realising the inside of a laboratory was not for me, I travelled for 18 months and on my return spent the next 5 years managing an Events and Nightclub Company. I started a move into manufacturing, working first as a Chinese Manufacturing Agent, then into purchasing for a kitchen company and then into operations for a mattress manufacturer. I am happy to have been part of the RING Team since December 2021

I’ve worked in various sales roles for most of my career and having been in my previous company for 18 years I took the opportunity to look for a new challenge…I was lucky enough to find ���˶��� 7 years ago and have never looked back since.
Initially I joined as a National Account Manager within the Retail Business Unit and looked after several key customers for about 3 years. I was then promoted into the Directorship role and now sit on the Executive board with the rest of the ���˶��� leadership team.

Background in audit, then moved into manufacturing industry covering plastics manufacture and life sciences in regulated industries.

Started of on a graduate scheme for Francis Ward Ltd, a plastic manufacturing firm, as their Marketing Executive. After 3 years and gaining a lot of experience across marketing functions I joined ���˶��� Automotive in 2007. Since then, I have held different positions in the marketing function as the business and department has grown

I have worked in HR for over 25 years building and developing my skills and knowledge in a variety of industries. I started my career as a HR Assistant for a Bradford based textile company before moving to Yorkshire Building Society supporting the branch network for the North East and Scotland as a Regional HR Advisor. I then moved to Direct Line Insurance as a Senior HR Adviser and worked on the acquisition and integration of Churchill Insurance before moving to Yorkshire Water as a Strategic Business Partner supporting the Clean Water division and working alongside the leadership team to deliver a number of challenging initiatives. From here, I returned to Yorkshire Building Society for 6 years supporting transformation and change programmes whilst partnering a number of the business divisions from a HR perspective. I then moved to Wm Morrisons for 2 years to support a specific reward project before moving to Vanquis Bank for 3 years as a Senior HR Business Partner and HR Project/Transformation Specialist. I joined ���˶��� in January 2025 as the Head of People.

After serving 11 years in the Army, I left with the rank of Captain and a background in electronics, working on missile defence and radar systems before broadening into electro-mechanical engineering. My military career saw me managing engineering teams, large vehicle fleets, and complex technical projects across multiple disciplines. Alongside this, I earned an MSc in Engineering and Management, a PGDip in Strategic Leadership and Management, and became a Chartered Manager.
I moved into the power management sector, taking on an Operations Director role across two businesses simultaneously, covering low- and medium-voltage systems up to 11kV. This built on my experience of leading technical operations and delivering critical power projects into a range of sectors.
In 2024, I joined ���˶��� Carnation as Divisional Director to lead the business in delivering innovative solutions for emergency and specialist vehicles, and have since expanded my responsibilities within ���˶��� as Operations Director. I’m currently studying for my MBA and remain passionate about bringing people and processes together to deliver solutions that make a real difference to society.

Completed an Internship based in the Far East, sourcing Ceramics and Glassware, then had a brief stint with Argos in Retail Management. I then found my calling and moved into “Sales” at Holts where I stayed for 10 years in various Sales, Product & Marketing roles before joining my true home ���˶���, which I have enjoyed thoroughly for the last 15 years.
